Curtain Styles

There are a number of styles of curtain pleats available, which can be used to enhance different fabrics, and create different moods.

Pencil Pleat

Traditional style of pleat; Gives the curtains more fullness, showing off the sheen of the fabric.

Dutch Pleat

Known as a Pinch or Double Pleat. It gives a very neat finish to the curtains.

French Pleat

Known as the Triple Pleat. Traditional heading, and gives a stylish, triple pleat gather. Gives the curtains a very full finish.

Inverted Pleat

Gives a flat, tidy and contemporary look. Ideal for a modern and minimal look.


Eyelet

Gives a modern and simplistic look. This heading works only with curtain rods, not tracks.

Single Pleat

Known as the New York pleat. It works extremely well on tall, apartment style windows, gives a contemporary look.
